I successfully completed my first professional training in 1991 as paediatric nurse. I subsequently completed my diploma as a mid-wife in Zurich in 1998.
In 2000, I installed myself in the Suisse Romande with my English husband. I worked for 16 years in different obstetric services at the HUG university hospital in Geneva. Our 3 children were born between 2003 and 2008.
I have worked as an independent midwife in the Nord Vaudois since 2016. This role involves the accompanying expectant mothers as well as risk pregnancies and the accompanying of families at home during the first 2 months after birth and during the breast-feeding period.
In addition, I provide birth preparation courses for couples in their home, making myself available in the evenings and at weekends allowing the participation of the partner.
Courses can be given in English, French, German or Swiss German as required. I can also provide basic communication in Spanish and Italian.
I have a specific interest in alternative medicine having attended professional training in aromatherapy, homeopathy, herbal teas, fleurs de Bach and naturopathy for new-borns. I also have knowledge of spagyrie and Schuessler Salts.

My priority is to satisfy the requirements of the family in question and to make the time to answer all their questions to allow the couple to take care of their new-born child to the best of their abilities and to experience this new phase in their lives in the upmost comfort and wellbeing.
